  1. Hi.
I have been looking around and am quite stuck. I am fairly new to this so please excuse me.

I have several AVI files that have 44khz audio and i want to make them 48khz audio.

Is there an easy way to do this. As in a program.

Could you point me in the direction of a guide that gives step by step instructions on what i need to do.

    Many thanks
    Travis

  2. Goldwave is an audio program that can resample avi. Just open it up and resave the file with the new settings.

Are you wanting to make them 48KHz so that they are DVD-compliant ?

If so, you can kill two birds with the one stone and use ffmpeggui to convert to AC3 AND resample to 48KHz.

Or you could research SSRC, which is a command-line tool and pretty straight-forward if you read the readme file.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I just downloaded and tryed it.

I will only let me save it as a WAV file not a new AVI file.

Ok now that i have a wave file that is 48khz how do i get it back into my original AVI file.

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

    Thanks
