I seem to remember being able to play DVD's full screen on my PC, I have since reinstalled my Win XP Pro OS, but have no idea how I use to get the DVD player to show DVD's?

Any software you can recommend, free would be even better?

What works for me may not work for you. So, be adventurous! Try a few!

  5. VLC is clearly the best, it plays ISO's, divx, xvid, dvds & is free & can crank up the audio on a laptop far beyond what your laptop can.

I didn't know VLC played DVDs. Especially not ISOs.
    Awesome!

Never had a reason to try. I won't be using PowerDVD anymore.
