Hello all,
I am demo-ing CCE Lite right now and have two
questions.
Question 1:
If I use a 720x480 .avi as input, how do
I configure CCE to encode it as a 480x480
MPEG2 for SVCD?
Question 2:
I tried to encode the file as 720x480 MPEG2 but
got some weird "DV codec not found" error. Anyone
know how to get around this? Or does CCE Lite not
support encoding 720x480 MPEG2?
I found that CCE Lite generally sucked for MPEG1
(TMPGEnc is MUCH better), but I would like to see
how CCE does for SVCD (MPEG2) since I have read on
this forum that CCE is better than TMPGEnc for
SVCD...
Thanks as always,
vcddude

CCE can not resize from 720x480 to 480x480. Resize with Avisynth, VirtualDub, TMPG or AVIutl. CCEL 2.64 accept Avisynth frameserved files. CCEL do only encode in CBR mode, most people on the forum use CCE SP.
