I've fallen in love with Huffyuv, I don't wanna use DV encodes any more![]()
So, my current NLE is Pinnacle Studio, and it won't work with Huff-encoded avi clips, it only likes DV and Mpeg encodes.
Can anyone suggest other NLE editors that will accept Huff encodes?
(I'm hoping to not have to download and install a whole camel-train full of apps just to find out if they'll do what I want)
Thanks in advance for any and all input ----
granny

Vegas, Premiere Pro, probably Media Studio Pro. That's at the higher end. Down from there, Vegas Movie Studio will import avi files, so I assume if you have the codec, it will work with it. It does limit the number of tracks you can use to 4, but how limiting that is depends on the type of editing you do. Preimere Elements might be an option, however I have heard that it is more limited in the codecs it will use - something you need to confirm. Another possible is Ulead's Video Studio 10.

I will check out Vegas Movie Studio trial, and see where I land.
