I can get a DVD from a .mkv file with ffmpegx (version 0.0.9v).
I can get a DVD with burned in subtitles from the same .mkv and previously extracted via mkvextract-ed subtitle file which is in .ssa format. I guess thats what happens when "VOB Subtitles" option is selected in the FILTERS tab?
I have not been successful in producing a selectable subtitle DVD though. I have followed the FAQ and justed selected the .ssa file with 'load sub" button and done nothing else.
I am using the DVD Mencoder option on the SUMMARY tab of ffmpegx.
Is it that I have to use the latest version of ffmpegx? I am stumped.
