I have nero 6 ultra edition and all I ever use it for is creating audio cd's & vcd's but I just noticed the 'copy and backup' section and wondered what it was used for?
I has things like 'burn image to disk' 'backup files' & 'restore backups'.
I restore my compter about every month and re-install all the software back individually and put all my files back on that are on disks and removable hard drives, could nero help me to put everything back on easier & quicker?
thanks

I've never used those options in Nero but I wouldn't recommend depending on it for full system backup. Nero is at heart a CD/DVD burning application. Everything else are extras, not software designed for the specific purpose you are asking about.
Personally I'd recommend you buy a copy of Acronis True Image 9. Runs about $30. And get an external HDD to back up to. You can do a fresh install of windows and all your apps and then create a backup image in Acronis to the HDD. Then you can append new data to that back or do additional full backups in the future. At any point you have a problem and decide to reinstall you can restore back to any of the previous images you've created or if you save the original you can restore back to the clean state right after your fresh install and just do your updates from there. It's a lot quicker that installing windows and all the software every time.
