  1. by default besweet converts to mpeg 1 layer 3...
    what parameters are to be used to convert to mpeg 2 layer 3?

    I though by default Besweet converted to Mpeg 1-Layer 2 (also referred to as mp2 audio or mpeg audio). By Mpeg 2 - Layer 3 do you mean MP3 ?

    Did you install the BeSweet Wizard?

    It makes things much simpler than trying to work out command line options.
    And usefully it also shows you exactly what the command line is, so you can cut and paste that if you want to develop your own scripts.

    for instance, this is the command it made to convert an AC3 to MP2:

    "P:\BeSweet\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "Q:\02.ac3" -output "Q:\02 - New - [10.09.2006] - [18.53.41].mp2" -logfilea "P:\BeSweet\BeSweet.log" ) -azid( -L -3db ) -ssrc( --rate 48000 ) -toolame( -m s -b 128 -e )

    Once you have a working command, you can RTFM and tweak the options if you want.
