  1. I have looked and looked all over for guides for this and they have taken me as far as they can im afraid. I have created a subtitle file and have syncronized it with my video file. I have the video file encoded to avi as well as the original vob. I want to add permanent subs to these so that i can encode to svcd or something similar and burn. I have been through adding sub filters, selecting the sub file etc in virtual dub but after doing so, i can never see my subtitles. What could be wrong?

I remember a post sometime back where there was a similar problem. It truned out that the subs were there, but they were so big they were off the screen. Something was screwy with the sizing on the characters.
