I'm running Nero 6614 to burn DVD video files (.bup, .ifo, etc...) to DVD-R.
I just installed windows Vista RC1 and research indicates that one of the few versions of Nero that will run on Vista RC1, is Nero 6614, so I got that.
I get to the point where the files are in the project window and I'm inserting a blank DVD-R and click burn.
the burn fails immediately with the following error:
Specified Host Adapter Invalid
burning an audio CD gives the same result.
Anyone have any tips on how to resolve this?

My first guess is that version of nero isn't updated for VISTA. Have you tried a different burning app yet??

I would agree with that statement, if it were not for the fcat that 6.6.1.4 is one of the few Nero builds that have been identified as working with Vista. 5.X and 7.X are all failing, but this one is supposed to work.
What other burning software do you recommend, for burning MP3 to audio CD and VIDEO_TS to Video DVD?My system:
