Bootlegging is not just making your own beer..... it's making and transporting for sale high proof alcohol/whiskey/liquor 8)

I doubt the guy sitting in his basement making some homebrew beer for personal consumption is conidered a bootlegger :P

I also thought software when I saw this thread. Guy's around her call beer-making "micro brewed". I've also heard it called bootlegging.

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

Micro-Brew around here is a company that sells in small numbers. Often brew is for their own restaurant.

Bootlegging I usually equate to selling stolen software.

I tihnk of "pirating" as making or selling stolen software.

I've also heard of "microbrew" before. Had many a great free beer at some of the small brewery tours. The big breweries don't really give out freebies anymore. Cheapskates.

Pirating would be steeling it - bootlegging would be selling it.
