    i have a question on the first screen on the bottom left it gives you the choices

    encoding speed
    encoding speed (ess)
    codec setting

    which one do i select?

    what is the box under that says

    FULL AUTO MODE?

    can you suggest any settings for this please?

    encoding speed means it uses the speed/quality slider to select settings. encoding speed (ess) means the same, but with standalone compatibility enabled. Fact is that for the offical build (unless there has been a silent update), it selects a HT profile in all modes so those two will be the same. In my build, a MTK profile is used for encoding speed, so it should still be compatible with most standalones. Codec settings, means you select your own settings, as I said though a HT profile is still loaded in the official build, so you set 2 bframes, it forces 1. You set a CQM, it forceds H.263, etc.

    Which to select? Now you know what they are. You decide.
