Well I have uploaded a new version (1.2) - hopefully the Win+E issue is addressed (can't say for sure as it was not an issue for me... Can KiwiKid confirm?). Also added a couple of new switches for ImgBurn 2.1

could you add the functionality to burn data DVD?

for example, when you right click on "Video_TS" you will get option to burn DVD-Video. If you right click any other folder, such as "My Data" it will just burn a dvd data disc.

    is this hard?

    thanks for the proggy!!!!

Let' see if I understand everything. I can now use ImgBurn to burn all my iso, img, and
video_TS files? I do not have to use Nero anymore? Is this correct? Or have I missed
    something. Thank you.

I have to say that I have no plans to do this. The idea behind the shell ext is to intelligently only do VIDEO_TS folders. To do what you want doesn't need a shell extension - a simple registry entry would do.

    CB wrote,Correct.

Is "Correct" the answear to Imgburn burning iso,img and TS files on the right click extension as if that is the case i do not have it ???.

I only have it when i click on a TS folder so i assume "Correct" means starting up the Imgburn programe and then being able to burn iso & img from there.
Would be nice if you could right click on the iso,img like you can on the TS.
    Please advise cheers ian.

You get .ISO when you install ImgBurn:

The Ext here adds Video_Ts. So what i meant was that with what you get off the shelf and with this extension the post was correct.

    Something like:

    key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Folder\shell\B urn folder with ImgBurn\command

    value:

    "C:\Program\ImgBurn\ImgBurn.exe" /MODE ISOBUILD /BUILDMODE DEVICE /FILESYSTEM "UDF" /SRC "%1"

Other CLI switches may be useful to you. See the text file in the imgburn folder.

  16. I hate to go off topic but I'm hoping ChrissyBoy couild point me where look in the registry. Something isn't quite right in wherever the right click settings are stored. Sometimes a right click takes a long time and othertimes it is quick for the same file.

    Thanks

  18. I think what I'm looking for is to see what handlers are used when I right click a file if I'm being clear. I'm guessing they are in registry entries? Sometimes the list pops right up other times it takes a couple of seconds. Not a lifetime to be sure but it seems to me it should be consistent.

    Many Thanks

Silly question but what is 20GBP in US dollars?

ok. For this shell extension the registry enties are at:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{FDDA5559-1B27-45E0-A4D7-5171E3700C14}

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandle rs\ImgBurnDVDVideo

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Badger I.T.\ImgBurnDVDVideo\Burn with ImgBurn

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{FDDA555 9-1B27-45E0-A4D7-5171E3700C14}

I don't see that there is anything for the end user to do with those keys however...

  20. Ok, thanks.

What does SVCD2DVD cost in US dollars? I always like to know ahead of time and I could swear your website said 20GBP?

    Cheers

  22. I guess from looking at that the US dollar isn't very strong right now. When did it changer from pounds to GBP?

    Thanks for the link.

  25. ChrissyBoy,

Please see the thread below. Is there anyway you can unload your dll from memory after burning so the video_ts folder can be deleted? I am using v1.2 of your Imgburn DVDVideo Shell Ext.

    Thanks,

I can't replicate this issue at this end and the code looks ok.... Anyone else had this issue with the shell ext?
