  1. I have several movies on dvd`s some have 2 and some 3 on a dvd as lots are short clips as well is there a program where when you insert dvd in drive which then can read all of dvd titles on the dvd and give you a readout which you can then list so there-fore instead of typing all this manually

    No, because the titles are only identifed as title one, title two etc. There is nothing in the DVD structure to identify title one as 'Holiday in Rome", title two as "Honeymoon Highlights" etc. There are a number of cataloging tools that can use barcode references to find details for commercial discs, but that's about it.

    Some people use menus for listing what's on the disc.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. where do i find menu`s then or do you mean make them with TDA as i have wrote on disc names of clips. but just thought in this day and age someone would have made a program to read titles of clips or movies

    Yeah, I just meant make menus with your authoring software.

    The problem comes when you make a DVD-compatible disc, where the files must be named according to DVD standards ( VTS_01_0.VOB etc etc). So simply obtaining a file listing isn't very helpful.
