  1. I like DVD Shrink, but it's windows only.

I'm looking for a similar tool for the Mac. I don't care about interface or ease of use, or cost, but I do care about features. I want something that can beat all (or most) encryption algorithms, and gives me the option to re-author, and trim the beginning and end (like DVD Shrink does).

Any suggestions? It's a shame the tool database does not have a field for operating system. BTW, I'm on a mactel box, version 10.4.6.

    Thanks!

I just tried MacTheRipper, and I'm impressed. It may actually be better than DVD Shrink. It was able to rip a CD on OSx86 that DVD Shrink puked out with errors. I suspect MacTheRipper may be better equipped for newer protection schemes, considering DVD Shrink is still on version 3.2, which is quite old.

Shrink really needs help with the newer encryptions. DVD Fab Decrypter or AnyDVD are a couple of useful programs for the newer encryptions.

And if you have Mac specific questions, you may be better off asking them in the Mac Forum. I can move this one if you want.
