What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

Normal is relative. By all physical accounts (okay, the pic is really all most of us know) she's a normal baby. However, she's a celebrity by birth regardless of what she's done or she may do the rest of her life.

    Do must of us care?

    The short answer is no.

The long answer is that enough people care that it's worth the investment Vanity Fair made to get her (and the fam) on the cover of their magazine. It's a business like any other.

@sitlet: You made a post... Simple fact that there's a thread (even) here makes things not so normal.

Getting this picture was a really big deal to somebody, I'm sure of it.

what is funny is that they goofed on the name .....

suri is the Japanese word for "pickpocket as well as a large edible grub eaten by natives of the Amazon.

The Associated Press reported that "Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's choice of a Hebrew-flavored name for their newborn daughter has speakers of the language scratching their heads" and quoted an Israeli television anchor saying "We seem to have learned a new Hebrew word—and from Tom Cruise, no less," while Reuters quoted a linguistics professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem who said "I really don't know what they were thinking when they chose this name. It's a term that denotes expulsion, like 'Get out of here'. It's pretty blunt."

Blame Tom! It's not my fault. She'll have to live with this.

Getting stuff wrong is not new with celebrities (Britney and her tattoos). One would think that they would take the time out and afford to hire someone to get stuff like this right

For sure. Being a celebrity does not make one inherently smarter. And new love does strange things to Dopamine levels.
