Hello. I was wondering if I could get some help here. Here is my current setup and problem. I got a new computer built running Win XP, 2x250 G HDD, 1G ram, asus 1600 vid card, abit 8bit mobo (i think on that one). I bought the external Hauppauge USB 2.0 PVR TV card and it works great as a VCR, and capturing into MPEG as well.

I used to be able to watch clips on video sites like youtube and google video. I wanted to watch Naruto, and downloaded DivX, Xvid, and FFDShow. I ended up getting pink and blue lines on WMP. I uninstalled all of them. Tried a K-lite codec pack. Still no go. I uninstalled all of them. I followed someone's advice here and just installed FFDShow and checked Microsoft's website and they said to go to the performance options and lower the video acceleration. I was able to watch my episode of Naruto, however, even with FFDshow uninstalled, I still cannot hear any sound on Youtube or Google Video.

I tried using Adobe Premiere for the first time so I could try to get into more advanced editing for fun. I have a new Canon ZR700 hooked up to my computer through a firewire cable. It connects to the computer fine, as it connected to the Hauppuage card fine through the other A/V port, but I get pink and blue lines on Adobe Premiere video just like I did when I tried watching anime earlier. So I don't know if the no sound issue on Youtube, and no video issue on Adobe Premiere (I can hear the audio of my clip) are related, nor do I know what I should do. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Well I uninstalled FFDshow and now the Green and pink lines are gone. Is this a common conflict with Adobe Premiere? Thanks!
