  1. I exported an avi file to TGAs. I then filtered each individual frame using photoshop, now I need to recreate the avi, and I've had no luck figuring out how to get it done. Are there any programs that will take a series of TGA's (or any image file for that matter) and convert them to an avi?

Assuming they are named in sequence (filename001.tga, filename 002.tga etc), most editors will import them as a clip. Even the venerable Virtualdubmod can open a sequence of TGAs and output a video clip.
