    Hello all,
I am in the process of converting the audio on a DVD from LPCM to ac3 before I shrink it. I have done this many times in the past successfully but this time I'm running into a new problem. This particular DVD has 7 titles so I have to do each separately. Every title but one (title 3) I've been able to demux, convert the audio to ac3, and then remux into new vob files.

When I demux title 3 using VOBEdit, the resulting m2v file appears to be missing a few frames (actually it appears as though a few seconds of video are missing). The audio file is complete so when I remux the new ac3 file with the m2v file, the sound is a few seconds out of sync. I have looked at the original vob file in the the directory where I have the DVD ripped and it is not missing any video at all. I have also tried PGCDemux to demux the title 3 vob and I still have the problem with missing video near the beginning of the resulting m2v file. This is somehow happening during the demux process.

Any idea what is happening and how I can fix this problem?

    Thank you.

I still haven't been able to figure this one out. I have tried demuxing the audio and video streams with a few different programs now but I almost always end up with an m2v file that is missing a couple of seconds of video at the beginning. I was able to create an m2v file using DVDDecrypter in the RAW mode that isn't missing any of the video at the beginning but I can't figure out what to do with it. I'm not familiar with what a raw m2v file is but apparently I can't remux it with my new ac3 file with IFOEdit (it keeps crashing).

    Any ideas?
