  1. I am attempting to convert a music video that is in .FLV format to DivX. I used Dr. Divx' bitrate calculator, and for an 8 min. 21 sec. video, it calls for a bitrate of 11321. Using SUPER, it only goes up to 9600. Does SUPER have a command line, where i might input the bitrate that way? Thanx!

Probably not. SUPER is fairly limited on settings. But it does use standard encoders and you may be able to use command line settings with them. They are listed at the top of the SUPER window. If it's mencoder, look to the left in 'Tools' and you should find it. MPlayer / Mencoder.

What did you set for output size in your bitrate calculator? That sounds like a 700MB output size for a 8 minute video. Do you really want it that big? A 100MB file would be a little over 1000kbps and probably still way more than needed to achieve the same quality as your .flv video.
