Can someone please tell me the options I have for watching DVDs played on my PCs DVD player on my television? The graphics card in my PC is a Radeon X300 and I think it only has a DVI out connector and the television I want to hook it up to only has composite inputs. Is there such a thing as a DVI to composite adapter? I looked on-line but could not find anything. Do I need to get a new graphics card, perhaps one with S video out? I have seen S video to composite video adapters available online. Or, could I do this with a TV tuner card?
Also, when hooking up a set-top DVD player to a TV using composite cables, how long can the cables be before there is a noticeable degradation in picture quality? Thanks!

For the computer playback option you need a new graphics card with composite out.
Or you need a new TV with component analog inputs (assuming the X300 allows YPbPr output options)
Why not just go to Walmart and buy a $30 (on sale?) DVD player with composite out? Then you can use the computer while playing a DVD. It won't be progressive or high quality, but then neither is your TV.
