I'm building a site for an indie film, and I need to put the trailer up for viewing.
It's two minutes long, and currently is a 26mb .wmv file.
What is the recommended file size so that a) my client doesn't get soaked by bandwith overage charges and b) the image is not too blocky.
thx

What's your bandwidth limit? and how many daily downloads are you expecting?
You should be able to shrink it and still keep pretty good quality. Test encode with different bitrate and resolution settings using windows media encoder and see how it looks like.
