Hi
I received from a client a DVD with 1 hour film on it. I have to re-edit that movie to 5 minutes. What is the best way to import that movie. Can I do it straight in premiere or do I have to convert it to some AVI file.
How can I best convert it to an AVI with as less as possible quality loose.
Thanks in advance

If you are going to make a new DVD then just use Tmpgenc DVD Author, import dvd - video, use the builtin editor and then burn a new dvd.
If you want to do advanced editing in Premiere seaaaaarch,
