I use VLC to play and VirtualDub Mod if I want to convert them. Most of the video is Xvid format with Ogg audio. VDM should be able to handle that. But they may be some other format in the OGM container. OGM can have several audio channels, along with subtitles, so some programs may have problems with that.

the OGM files dont come up in the supported file formats, when you go to add video files!

Doesn't mean that it can't open them. At least if it is still using libavcodec/format, then it supports ogm since libavformat can parse ogm files. Didn't used to be able to though so it is possible that the libs they are using are too old. If they would release the changes they made, then I could provide more recent updates.

It means that if they released their source changes as legally required by the GPL license that libavcodec/format are covered under (if you have GPL libs enabled, which I believe they have), then I could release updated dll's. Currectly I could only do stock dll's which I have tried and they don't work.

ffmpeg gets updated usually a couple of times per day and unless their is a major API change then new dll's should work without the need to update convertx.

You wait for VSO to release new ones. As I said unmodified ones don't work.

As I said all it would require is updating libavformat. Should also support VP 5/6 since libavcodec now does. Could be they missed that update. Pitty since it would have meant support for VP6 flv's.
