    I want to play video on my computer and watch it on my TV. What is the easiest and best setup to achieve this?

    The very beginning is to buy a good graphic card that has a TV output (for plasma, LCD or regular TV). Many advanced users here and at doom9 watch videos this way and experience state-of-the-art quality with their new Plasma and LCD 16:9 screens.
