    when i click on (let's say) a movie, it shows a blank screen and no sound, but it's playing... when i check properties it says "uncompressed", any solutions?
    uneek, is a unique way of spelling it.

    what do you mean when you click on a movie do you mean a movie you encode it or any movies you got and what format you talking about ??

    some of my avi movies. i can't even play it on a player because it says uncompressed in the properties menu.

    try decompressing the audio with an audio decrompressor. i know one comes in the avi2vcd package downloadable off morpheus.
