    i use TMPEnc to convert divx file to mpeg2 with 2 passes then i use IFOEdit to build the vob files. after that i use nero to burn the to dvd but the home dvd players can't watch it. there's no problem watching in the PC

    You need to provide more detail

    Specs on the avi file - use avicodec or g-spot. Post a screenshot if possible

    What do you mean - the home DVD players can't watch it - do they not see the disc ? Do they give an error message ?

    i meant the dvd players couldn't play it. nothing come up on the screen, black screen. however, the player was playing. i saw the timer of player was running. it didn't give me any error message. i think it was codec problem

    You have two problems.

    The first is posting what appaers to contravene the rules of the forum, as this film has long be available on DVD.

    The second is that have probably created a PAL DVD and tried to play it back on NTSC only equipment.

    Purchase the movie and support those who entertain you. Stuart Little is available on DVD and not for sale in DivX form.
