  1. I succefully converted a DVD to AVI with Autogk

the only problem i have encountered in my new AVI movie is thath there is a big echo in the sound
i wonder what could have caused thath? i followed the Autogk tutorial, but perhaps i missed some settings that controlled this?
what shall i do different next time i try to reconvert this?

Echo when you play the AVI back using what?
I get a small echo when I play DD movies using both TV audio and thru the surround system - the surround audio is slightly behind(?) the downmixed analog audio thru the TV.
I could imagine you can also have got 2 audio tracks (slightly off set) in the AVI, and the playback device plays both tracks?
