Error encoding a vcd from a DVD rip

I am trying to encoded a vcd from a DVD rip using Smart ripper 2.41, DVD to AVI, and TMPGEnc. I have used the standard Video Cd (NTSC) template and Sefy's SeVCD template for NTSC enhanced. i have tried each template at least 3 times. I have also tried to re-rip and reencode the dvd rip with DVD2AVI at least twice.

I keep getting an error message at the same point in the conversion process.

In TMPGEnc, i get a message that says "Read error occurred at address 02626843f module 'DVD2AVI.VFP with 032fd27e.

Please advise me as to how I might fix this problem.

Sounds like you'll need to rerip and dvd2avi it bud...at least that's my experience...

I tried re-ripping and redoing DVD to AVI and still no good.
Any other suggestions?

**** all that. Try it a differnt way. TRy either using Fram serving or DVDx or Flask. ALso use DVD decryptor. Your not out of options. Try something new.
