Hi All,

I've finally had enough of watching a movie with my thumb constantly hovering over the volume buttons. Its the same with adverts on the Cable box.

Does anyone have any suggestions that will attenuate the louder noise but add gain to the lower sounds such as voices etc to bring the volume to a more constant level? I'm in the UK and so any suggestions woud be welcomed. anything on these lines that anyone knows about would be great but any other ideas please tell me!!
