In avicodec it shows the list of codecs installed and direct show filters. You are able to disable them but i would like to know if there is any software that will uninstall them. .ax files and the regitsry entries as well.
My reason is because any avi file i create with vdubmod then use tmpgenc source creater to make my mpeg files audio is always out of sync. also any dvb capture to mpeg2 cannot be edited because anasyncrohnous timestamps.
anyway I believe its because of the mpeg filters installed.

You can try Codec Sniper. It will do some of that. I'm not sure that is causing your sync problem, though, but give it a try.
