The tv only will accept up to a 1366x768 signal so 1280x720 is the closest with normal pc resolutions. I have heard you can use powerstrip to get it to 1360x768 but am not interested. Looks great at 1280x720! I would whole hardily recommend an lcd tv as a monitor! Now, I just need a bigger one! :P
The Geforce 6800gt should be capable of 1360x768 or 1366x768 with currrent NVidia drivers. That should give a sharper desktop image but the text will be somewhat smaller. I'm using 1680x1050 desktop resolution and find text size acceptable.

  2. I am currently looking at my 19" CRT with resolution of 1440x1050. I can just imagine how huge letters are on monitor of 37" and lower resolution.

Whats nice if it is only 1280x720? Is it, realy? How far do you sit from your monitor?
    Cann't tell it's possible don't tell anything.

I have an Olevia LCD LT26HV monitor and a GeForce 7900. The Native Resolution does not show up in Nvidia's selections but you can create a Custom Timing from the Nvidia Control Panel that will match it. You should be able to do the same for your HUGE monitor. Go to the back of the User Manual to the Timing Mode page for DVI to find the specs to enter for creating a Custom Timing for 1366 x 768.
