    Hi,

Would anyone be good enough to point me towards the correct guide please?

I've looked on the main site for any info or related issues, but tbh I'm unsure what the problem is, which makes searching for the right topic hard; especially when you don't understand the lingo like me!

I'm wanting to convert a backup of a retail dvd that only plays on my computer so that it plays on a standalone dvd player.
The tools I have are dvd decrypter, dvd2one & Nero (apparently it can be done using these?!?)
Also does anyone know if there is an all-in-one program that does the job too?

    Any help appreciated,
    Many thanks

DVDDecryter can do it, yes (ISO Read -> ISO Write) - a 100% 1:1 copy of the original (with CSS protection removed).

You say "convert a backup of a retail dvd" - I'd suggest you start over from the "retail DVD" if that plays on standalone.

Thanks for the reply m8 8)
My orginal is badly scratched and will no longer play
I have tried the above method using dvd decrypter on its own but it doesn't make any difference.
It can be done using decrypter & dvd2one in conjunction with each other......something about using seperate folders (AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS)......
Anyone else know what guide I'm looking for plz?
    Cheers

    You have:
Commercial DVD that's too scratched to be backed up.
Backup of above, that only plays on computer, not on standalone.
    Wanted:
A backup (of original or backup) that plays on standalone.

    Correct this far?

DVDDecrypter iso read to copy to hard drive, then DVDDecrypter iso write to copy to blank disk if damaged disk is able to be read by the burner.

You should take better care of your dvds.
Some people have reported success with dvdfabdecrypter on scratched or damaged disks when dvddecrypter has failed. I know this has worked for me.
