I found the script below in the convert-section in order to convert real media to avi. I have the latest version of avisynth and also virtualdubmod installed, but I get an error message when I drag the avs file into VirtualDubMod:"No Video Stream Found". Does anyone know how to fix this problem or an alternative way to convert rm to avi or mpeg?
DirectShowSource("C:\My Movies\....\test.rm", fps=29.97, convertfps=true)

I believe you also need real alternative and perhaps even a splitter installed to allow avisynth to open the file. It appears, at present, that you don't, which is why there is no stream.
Either install real alternative, or try SUPER or MediaCoderRead my blog here.

I do have real alternative installed, maybe I need to update it? Anyway, in the mean time I found an easier way. I installed the 30 day trial of EO Video, which has a built in convereter for Real Media, it worked great!
Thanks for the help though! -
Sure Stream real video files, contain more than one video and/or audio streams. You need to create a new file with single audio and single video stream. The following will do this for you
