  1. Hi
    I owuld like to use a mpg2 or a m2v file as the video source in tmpgenc to convert it to mpg-2 file
    bu it keep saying me that this file is not supported. But I can play it with no problem with windows media classic
    Can anyone help me to get these file type acceptable as input file

    IIRC, TMPGEnc can't read mpeg2 on its own. However, the trick ysed to be to install PowerDVD (the trial version would do) and then TMPGEnc can use PowerDVDs mpeg2 decoder (which is left in your system even if PowerDVD is uninstalled). There's even a dedicated mpeg2 decoder plugin for TMPGEnc.

    Try raising the Directshow Multimedia File Reader to a higher priority. Go to Option>Environmental Setting>VFAPI Plugin.

  5. Directshow Multimedia File is already at the top of the list

    With the pro version isn't the mpg2 encoder and decoder is suppose to be included ?

    use mpg2 as input files
    anyone have ever been able to do this ?
