    here is a video that i encode using VDM to x264-h264/avc

    my freind install x264 code 566 from free-codec and it didint work
    but when he install k-lite codec pack it works
    i want know why and what is the specific codec that i need to play this video

    do you mean the http://www.free-codecs.com/download/x264_Video_Codec.htm ? it's just an encoder, not a decoder. use ffdshow or coreavc for decoding x264/h264/avc.

    Or play with VideoLan, built in h264 decoder.
