Hi all, I wonder if you could help with a long standing problem I have. I have taken some video clips with my digital camera which it captures as .mov files. It plays these fine on my PC with Quick Time and I have played these through my TV using a lead attached tot he camera itself. However, as I want to free up my SD card on the camera I wanted to convert these to VCD. I got a VCD converter - cucusoft but it does not allow any audio and says I have to get an audio codec. The guy I got it from was helpful but ultimately could not help. We tried gspot/videoinspector to detect the codec required but it did not help and no other attempt to convert helped. ALl I want is to be able to covert to VCD and burn to a CD so I can play on my DVD. It will play, but without the audio. Please help!! Chris

Most digital cameras do NOT capture audio at all. Maybe you have a camcorder instead?

Use Quicktime Pro to convert to AVI, then encode to VCD spec with TmpGenc. Then burn to CD.
