some divx i play on my computer work fine thru windows media player
but alot of them always seem to bring up this error when i open the files...

"ddhelp has caused an error in winmm.dll
dd help will now close"

this happens alot and then i always have to reboot b4 playin any other movies using any other movie playing software
ive tried many codecs and installed them fully
ive tried other divx players such as ripknot and that program just crashes]
the only program i can play them on seems to be the playa

what am i doin rong or wot is up?
