    I've tried Tmpgenc and BBmpeg; every time I try to load an avi file, I get an error. I tried changing the enviromental settings in Tmpgenc, and tried using avi2mpg2_vfw.exe in BBmpeg....nothing.I'm almost at the end of my rope.Is there another encoder that I could use other than Panasonic?

    Try installing the Krystal codec pack from the tools section on the left, fixed a similar problem I had just like that.
