I would like to have a (X)vcd with anamorphic widescreen. I'm using either TMPGEnc or CCE 2.50, and when the mpv-file is played in mediaplayer the picture gets the right A:R.
If I'm using bbmpeg to do the multplex I cant use vcd if i'ts a xvcd i must choose mpeg-1 or the mpg-file wont play properly, can bbmpeg affect the "widescreen"-mode in someway.
The goal would be to have a (x)vcd that when it's played on a standalone, signals to the tv to be in "Widemode" just like a real dvd.

I'm fairly certain you can't do this w/ the x(S)VCD discs. You make them them either permanant wide screen only, sorry. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

The way it is know everything works, you'll only have to switch to wide manually (on a 16:9 tv). But if you only have a 4:3 tv it would be neith if you can select 4:3 in the setupmenu of the DVD-player and get a letterboxed picture as when you play a dvd-movie on a 4:3tv.
