Hi, My sister has a newborn. They want to be able to see the baby from another room also (in both rooms there's a computer).
So I put a web camera in the baby's room, plug it to the computer that is in the same room.
The question is - what sofware is needed to be able to see on that web camera on another computer that is on the same lan?
    Thank you.
Arguing with an idiot, make sure he isn't doing the same

Why not just use a webcam?

This may help if streaming software isn't included, but you can probably get freeware stuff:

    Two options

Window Media Encoder 9 (see Baldrick's Guide) with WMP or another player.

VideoLAN server and player (see guides for set up)
