    Hi,

    I recently bought myself pinnacle studio 10.

    I have loads of dvds I need to edit...Trouble is I cant work out how use the software....

    Does anyone know of any free newbie guides that can teach me how to edit these dvds...

    Basically i want to cut bits from certain dvds and then make them into 1 dvd i have around 60hrs of footage i need to get thru....

    Please please help...

  2. I would suggest ripping a few DVD's to your hard drive, then import one and cut the parts out you don't want and render/save. Do the same with the next. If you don't know how to rip a DVD check the Guides and Tools sections on this site. All info is there.

    By the way, Pinnacle Studio 10 is pretty buggy so save your work often.

    is adobe premier better? or any off the adobe kit?

    what i wanted to know is how to edit with studio 10......when i bring up the modify clip properties i cant seem to open up any files....which is really random...

    any ideas??

    which prog is better? adobe premier 2.0 or studio pinnacle?

    I just need to do some basic dvd trimming?

  5. Adobe products have a very steep learning curve as well as Vegas. If you read the Pinnacle posts you will find that this product has a lot of problems. Maybe the latest upgrate will finally make this product useful... I would look Ulead products.
