Movie ISO to DVD PLZ Help

Hey guys I have a problem I have a movie ISO and I want to burn it on a dvd to play it on my dvd player in the living room. So far I have tried to do it about 15 times and have waisted about 15 dvds. I have followed a lot of steps that I have found on burning ISOs, but still I have a problem. My DVD player does not read the burned dvd for some reason. When I tried to burn it with Nero, it fails burning in the end and it says something like "Could not put the finish" or something like that. I really need some help here guys I'm goin nuts over this, I can't burn a movie no matter what. PLZ Help.
