Give us more information man!!!
I don't know of any ripping program that rips out an .AVI from a DVD, since......well.....DVD's don't contain .AVI's..
But perhaps your preffered ripper somehow rips and uncompresses..
Load the file into VirtualDub, and go to File>File information, and tell us the audio specs.. -
Use Autogk or FairUse Wizard instead of apollo nr1 dvd ripper...

With this file a created a DVD, burning them with DVD creater soft. In my DVd player there is no sound! Why?
Thanks a lot... -
What information about the AVI do you see in VLC if you select "Stream and Media Info" from the View menu (or press Ctrl-I), and pick the "Advanced information" tab in the "Stream and Media Info" window that comes up? It should mention the codecs used in the video. If possible, copy the information here.
Alternatively, you can get information on the AVI with programs like GSpot, AVI2Clipboard, etc. But to be able to know why you're not hearing any sound with other players or your DVD player, we have to know a little more about the AVI.If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
Okay, if i'm reading this right....
You are ripping from a dvd to get an avi...
Then you are taking that avi and converting it back to a dvd to play on your dvd player ? -
Could be because of the audio the DVD originally had. Load the AVI into GSpot and use https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=271697 to upload a screenshot.
If in doubt, Google it.
