Hi,
I have a number of .vcr files encoded by my ATI graphics card. Does anyone know how I can convert these to .avi files?
Thanks,
Joe

You need to convert to mpg first. If you have ATI Library installed, open it and right-click the file in question and select "convert to mpeg2", or something similar. Once you have an mpg file you can use any number of programs to convert to avi. I would probably use Virtualdub MPEG2. You can find lots of guides on this site if you look for them. One more thing, you should probably set your capture profile to save as an mpeg file instead of vcr. It will save you a step next time you want to convert to avi.
