Here's my dilema: We have one TV with a comcast cable box that gets oodles of channels but only basic cable is on the other TVs in the apartment. I have a cheapie capture card: a kworld model tv878SEC that allows a backup PC (no drivers available for my new Win XP64 PC) to double as a TV in the kitchen. What I'd really like to do is use the back up PC as another digital cable TV so I can watch my White Sox games etc. Is there software or maybe a better quality card on the market that can process a digital signal in the same way that my cable box does? I want the same digital cable in the kitchen that I already have in my living room without having to get another box. Thanks alot.

You will need another cable box from your cable company. Most tuner cards only receive the "free" (non scrambled / non digital) channels. I believe there are some newer ones that can receive digital channels, but you will need to contact you cable company to see if any of them are compatible with their system.
