I've been using DVDx, and it seems to be the only program that will copy a DVD without copying VOB files that take up space. The problem is, DVDx doesn't do batch encoding, which is a problem as I'm trying to copy a DVD of a TV show with several episodes on each DVD. What is the best way to do this considering that I don't have very much hard disk space - I have enough space for the compressed files, just not 4-9GB VOB files.

The best way is to get more HDD. It is relatively cheap storage, and will also speed up the process considerably. Encoding direct from an optical drive is much slower than ripping to a HDD and encoding from there.

Yeah, that's true. But until then, do I have any options? Thanks.
