Is there a Reverse Bit-Rate Calculator?
I know there is already a bit-rate calc here: https://www.videohelp.com/calc.htm
But is there a way to calculate how big of a file size is if you set the bit-rate?
For example:
Lets say I have a video (VHS) that is 1hr:30min long, and I want to capture:
VIDEO: at 352x480 and 15,000kbps CBR
AUDIO: 384kbps MP2 audio
... what will the file size be?

Multiply the bitrate by the running time in seconds, then divide by eight. That will give you bytes. Assuming 15,000 kbps is 15,000,000 bps, 90 minutes = 5400 seconds
15,000,000 bps * 5400 seconds / 8 = 10,125,000,000 bytes -
If I didn't make a mistake, I think this is it.
5400 seconds * 15,000 Kb/s = 81,000 Mb = 10.125 GB
352x480 and 720x480 would be the same file size.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

In the bitrate calculator link you provided, hit the Advanced Mode button top right corner, enter the audio bitrate and duration, and then input your video bitrate in the Calculated Bitrate field -- your resulting size will be in the Custom Size field
