    Hello!! How are you?
I have a 640x272 video that I converted it with Winavi video converter to MPEG 2 with the same size.
When I go into the asset part in DVd lab pro to import the movie a get this error

The original Avi was of 700 mb.
    Winavi reduce it to 658.
I first tried with Total video converter and the new MPEG2 was o more than 1 Gb.

MPEG2 properties of Total video converter:
Same size and audio. I tried both aspect ratio and I got a full screen on TV. 6 hours and one DVD lost.

    MPEG2 properties of WinAvi
size 720x 304. I put 4:3 as aspect ratio. But seeing it with Crystal video player I can change it. Yo see the size I put, I have to choose 45:19 aspect ratio

This is the error DVD lab pro pops up

    What can I do?

    Thank you very much!![/img]

This is more a conversion issue. Moving you.

You must convert to a dvd compliant mpeg2 file, www.videohelp.com/dvd#tech

And use a good encoder like tmpgenc xpress and select dvd and it will be dvd compliant.

Or use divxtodvd (very good support for downloaded video), it outputs a complete dvd directly... if you want to make menus with dvd-lab pro can you import the vobs created by divxtodvd.

    Thank you, Baldrick

I have read the link you gave me and find out that maybe the problem is the size 640x272.
I'll try change it to 720x576 and aspect ratio 16:9.
I'm download the program. the problem is that my borther forgot his passworf of the Administrator account :P.
    See you around

WinAVI also has problems correctly converting widescreen source material, so don't be surprised if you get distorted or cropped results.
