    Hello,
After converting to MPEG2 that runs perfect on the computer, when I try to author the dvd using nero or tmpg dvd author, the video not running smoothly. not on the computer and not in the dvd player. It looks kind of choppy when there is movement on the screen.
    Thank's for the help.

Here is the g-spot screen of the converted file, as you can see it's NTSC.
Just one more thing. after authoring the dvd, the VOB file is playing smoothly when it plays directly in any player. But when using software that plays DVD (power dvd, dvd x player), the video is running not smoothly and looks chopy when there is movement on screen.

  5. This is from DV-AVI source(GS300 camera)? What field order did you select when converting to mpeg2? DV-AVI is usually bottom field first. You need to re-encode to mpeg2 using bottom field first(BFF).

It is Panasonic GS300 and I will try to re-encode with BFF and let you know how it goes...

I re-encode with BFF but the same result, but when I replaced the MPEG2 codec, there was a major improvement. Maybe this was the problem...

    Found the problem !!!
It was only the refresh rate of the monitor. When it goes down to 60HZ everything works perfect and running smoothly. F**k, I spent 3 days about it going crazy !!!
