I recently bought this player and I really like it...worked much better than the Philips 642 I tried before, however, I have noticed that when playing MPEG1, and maybe MPEG2 not sure yet, that the fast foward does not work well. As you go further into a movie the FF gets progressively more advanced of where the film will start playback when you stop Fast Fowarding. For instance, in the first ten minutes if you Fast Forward from 1:00 to 8:00 it might start playback at 7:30. At the 1 hour mark however, you might FF to 1:20:00 and it will start playback at 1:10:00. Also on some files if you watch the file from say 15:00 and start to fast forward it will start FFing from 0:00:00. Anyone have any ideas on workarounds for this? In the short term I have decided to convert any mpegs to divx but it's still annoying. Any help is appreciated especially from TBoneIt who mentioned something similar to this in his DVD Player review. And oh yes I did do search on the internet and through this sites guides and forums to no avail. Thanks!
